Darling Glittery Eyes

Here's a more bold and glittery look for y'all! But in order to keep it fresh I didn't put any mascara on the bottom lashes and used a lot of white eyeshadow there instead! I bought some new lashes at Superdrug but these ones are a bit too natural for my taste and for NYE I would definitely go for a pair of crazy ones!

I'm just going to continue on Azure's more natural (according to me) theme for a new years look, yet with a rainbow twist under the eyes! I'm probably aiming for a real glittery look, possibly with rhinestones on New Years Eve!

Simple smokey eye

I'll continue the New Years looks, just because it's fun!
This is a simple and not too heavy smokey eye in brown with a hint of grey, and of course glitter! And if you want the look more casual, skip the coloured waterline!

This glitter is nameless, because I've found it in a crafts shop! I know a lot of people are saying it's dangerous for the eyes because the grains are sharper than cosmetic glitter, but honestly I haven't felt any difference at all!
But if you have sensitive eyes, maybe think it through before trying it!

Products of the day:
Primer - Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue
Shadows - Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, using Half Baked, Snakebite & Pistol. Barry M Fine Glitter Dust in Iridescent Gold
Eyepencil - Clouded Sky from Make Up Store
Glitter - From a crafts shop, attached with Clearly Liquid Glitter Base from LIT Cosmetics
Eyeliner - Le Crayon Eyekohl in Bronze from Lancome
Mascara - Skinny Brush Mascara by Eyeko
Brows - Lancome Le Crayon Eyekohl in Bronze

Over and out!

Time for count-down

So we don't have many days left of this year, and knowing that all the planing of the New Years Eve look begins!
So we thought we could give you some choices, or just give some inspiration.
You don't have to follow the whole look, pick just a detail maybe, or get some ideas of your own that bubbles up after seeing a look! You decide!
This is pretty simple, yet keeps that glittery way perfect for New Years. I did the eyes pretty naked, but chose to glitter anyway! The glitter is placed in the outer corner of the eye, and continues to under the bottom lashes and a bit out towards the temples. It's a light hologram glitter so it looks good without any shadow underneath.
Below I show good lips for this!!

Primer - Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin
Shadows - Shiro Cosmetics Puzzle Cube from The Legends Collection
Eyepencil - Make Up Store Snowflake pencil
Glitter - Champagne Wishes Glitter from LIT Cosmetics attached with a Glam Crystal Liner from Collection 2000 in Funk
Mascara - Eyeko Curvy Brush Mascara
Brows - Le Crayon Eyekohl in Bronze from Lancome

And the suggested lips could either be bold or a bit more family friendly! And if you want to glitter more, mix some glitter with a clear lipgloss and put on the lips of choice and you're disco ball of the evening!

The family friendly one is an Intertube from Shiro Cosmetics in Forty Cakes! Very glossy and smooth on the lips!

And the bolder pink is Matte Lipstick Shocking Pink from NYX - a fantastic pink shade that leave no one unnoticed!

Hope you liked it!

Truly mattely deeply...

Yep! I have got my hand on the mattest lip product I've ever seen!
It's from the PPQ Shangri-La Collection from Sleek, and the shade is called Jazz.
There's a baby pink one too, but I don't have it.
And there are two gorgeous eye shadow palettes as well, we just don't have shown them yet (we're late, we know!)

This one is super red! And as the name says matte (as hell!)!
You know how I like my lips to be over the top glossy, and this is the heaviest opposite to that. Very long lasting but oh so dry!

And the reason for my wobbly lipline is because when applying the lip cream (or what to call it) it sets very fast so there's no time to adjust things.
A lip pencil should be a good thing to do before (note to oneself!) application!

A very good shade for Christmas that's for sure, and New Years lips should be the best with this, though I choose to have a gloss on top of this or I would feel very uncomfortable!

What do you think of it? If you have it too, don't you also find it very dry, or is it the best ever tried??
Let me know!!

Over and out!
